Assignment Preparation
Now is a great time to apply the principles we have covered thus far in the class, and perform your own swing analysis.

Remember Matt? Matt was our indoor golfer on our optical system from Module 3. For the Swing Analysis Assignment, we have included information on Matt's typical swing and his typical miss before instruction. You are given player description data, 2D video of his swing and miss from down the line and face on, and his 3D swing reports. The reports include full 3D data, so you can review both movements and ground forces, and look at how they affect each other. All of this information can be found in the Swing Analysis Assignment folder on ANGEL.
We strongly encourage you download Visual 3D so you can see how Matt moves and applies forces dynamically. In the Visual 3D Instructions folder in ANGEL, we have included installation instructions, a user guide, and information on how to read a report.

Your Assignment:
As you make your way through the report and his swings, write out what you view as potential things to work on with Matt. Then write out your strategy -- combining what you’ve learned in this course so far with your previous experiences -- including what you consider priorities and first steps.
Swing Analysis Assignment Documents and Drop Box
Once your analysis is complete, submit your write-up to the Swing Analysis Drop Box.
Once you have submitted your analysis, a folder labeled Matt’s Swing After Instruction will become available in ANGEL. In this folder you will have access to our assessment of his pre-instruction swings, a description of our instruction to Matt, as well as his post-instruction swings and data.
